PIPELINE INDUSTRY PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION (PIPEd)
PIPEd provides face-to-face courses to small groups of attendees, presented by professionals currently working in the industry. This will ensure that participants to our courses will be able to ask questions relating to practical work situations in relation to the course presented, as our instructors are very aware of practical challenges in the workplace. At the same time our courses offer a relaxed opportunity to network with other industry participants during coffee breaks and lunch.
Most of our attendees are currently working in the industry, either as new entrants or they have been working in the pipeline industry for a substantial amount of years but need to update on skills in a certain area.
PIPEd (Pipeline Industry Professional Education) was established by OSD Pipelines in 2006. It draws on the technical expertise and in-depth experience of the industry to deliver professional training services. With a mission to provide quality education to pipeliners by recognised pipeline specialists in the area of onshore pipeline design and operation.
PIPEd continuously increases its development and delivery activities. We will increase our scope in 2012 to include courses on process plant piping fundamentals.
With PIPEd, it is possible to choose courses from the following streams:
- General Knowledge
- Design and Construction
- Operations and Maintenance
- Field Operations.
Our course developers and trainers are all experienced industry specialists in their fields.
